We are having a li’l concert on Sunday, May 20, Pentecost Day, but who knows who’s playing what??
The trio performance of Bach’s “Air on G String” is still disintegrated, so let’s see who can perform what.
Maybe “Dad” can sing some “hymn lyrics” to an old J-pop.
Rev playing his recorder. Also some playing the reed organ, e-piano, violin.
Looks like I don’t have to sing anything extra — yet the problem is “some” in “some playing the —“.
In case that “some” turns out to be “no” or “few”, what could I sing???
Alban Berg, “Die Nachtigall” — Lovely li’l tune, yet goes way below my tessitura.
Bach-Gounod, “Ave Maria” — Well-known, popular song, but I’d have to transpose it to C major, to begin singing at E5.
Handel, “Lascia Ch’io Pianga” — Beautiful, but weeping over confinement — ?? Nothing celebratory. Also, I’d have to transpose this one too to bring the range overlap my tessitura.
